FREE Digestive System Notebooking Pages from the Notebooking Fairy

The pages I make at The Notebooking Fairy are usually something that we are using in our own homeschool or at least are inspired by something we have studied. At times I make fancy notebooking pages, and Sprite prefers to create her own. (And I always let her do that.)

Today’s freebies fit into the category of what we are studying. We are slowly making our way through a study of the history of medicine and human anatomy using living books.

I like the reproducible pages in Human Body, Grades 5-8, but they are generally more of a worksheet format, often requiring the student to label a diagram. They are easy enough to add to a notebook, but there is never any room to write sentences about the body parts, systems, and functions. That’s why I chose to create some notebooking pages for the digestive system with plenty of room for written narrations.

As always, I love to hear when you use the free printables from The Notebooking Fairy in your homeschool. If you send me photos, I will feature you in a Show Off post.

Her guide to notebooking—Notebooking Success—guides you through notebooking: what it is; how to use it; how it fits a Charlotte Mason, classical, and textbook curriculum; tips for getting the most educational value from it; and much more. It comes bundled with several bonuses, including a small set of generic notebooking pages that can be used with any topic.

Hi. I’m wondering how much should I expect out of my seven year old daughter concerning note booking? I absolutely love the idea of narrating via note booking, but she isn’t so crazy about writing. How much I require her to do? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
