Lie Versus Lay Notebooking Page
In our recent language arts lessons, we came across the problem of lie or lay. Those verbs are sneaky and cause me a fair share of second guessing. I found the review helpful because, really, how many of us say “I have lain on the sofa all afternoon eating bon bons?” Although it’s correct, it’s just weird.
Free printables to the rescue!
The Lie Versus Lay file contains two main printables:
- a mini poster (plus a version with blanks to fill in)
- a notetaking sheet (in two line styles)
