Do you use notebooking for math? If your children are very verbal, writing about math can cement mathematical concepts for them. If your children don’t like writing, but they do like math, math notebooking can be a sneaky way to encourage them to write.

This is a general math notebooking page that can be used for anything math related. The PDF has only one layout, but it is in three different line styles so even the lower elementary students in your homeschool can begin a math notebook.

I’ve seen little flip books and lapbook elements in math notebooks as well. I’ve been using math notebooks for years. Simple spiral notebooks where we take notes and do our practice problems. It has helped so much with organization and the kids don’t have little math papers floating all over the place. I’m going to take my notebooks even further this year with your ideas. Thank you!
