I haven’t had a chance to look around your site much, but I know we’ll be studying the Civil War next year in preparations for a family vacation. History pages with landmarks and famous buildings would be great!

We’ll be studying the history of our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, usually known as Mormons) and could use notebook pages on:
Joseph Smith
Pioneers
The Trek West
Nauvoo, IL
Handcarts
The Willie-Martin Handcart Company
The Donner-Reed Party
A map page from about 1845 to mark places on

We’re also doing physics this coming year with Christian Kids Explore Physics, so any physics topics!

My kids love notebooking about the books they read and science the best. I could really use some help on covering history…I know there’s a lot out there and we are going to hit the living books heavy next year and just notebook about each book/character/event.

Thank you for all of your inspiration!

I would like to see pages for the Hebrew constellations. Constellations and planets are the same ones we know but have Hebrew names and meanings and it is completely different form the Greek/Roman ones.

I would really like to see some notebooking pages that have a biblical foundation. Raising 2 homemakers, we are all about modesty, virtues, and learning to be Proverbs 31 and Titus2 women…..this would be an awesome bonus to your already wonderful collection ;)

Thanks for the blessings ~Holly <3

I like the MFW K recommendations. We will continue using that curriculum this summer as a review but we are focusing on the science and bible topics since the reading is not challenging enough for Alyssa. I would LOVE to see composer or artist notebooking pages. I also need Language Arts (Parts of Speech) pages. I have seen a few on the internet so I will have to search again. I would also LOVE more bats and insect pages. Thank you for all that you do. Your blog is awesome and I love reading your articles. I always come across your articles and they are very thorough (full of information). Love it!
God bless,
Tracey M.

This is going to be my first year homeschooling and I know very little about note booking or lap booking. From what I have seen, I really love the concept of note booking but am nervous on how to implement it. My goals for this year are to give my daughter a sense of her surroundings. For example, in social studies/geography I want to give her a basic overview of the earth by exploring continents, oceans and countries (US states if we get to it, but I doubt it). For science, I want to give her a basic overview of ecosystems like dessert, rainforest, tundra, etc. I am just really excited to get started on this journey together as a family!

Just stared homeschooling my Kindergartner this year so there is so much that is new. We are still working on words so ways to use Notebooking when the kids are not that adept at writing yet would be great!

My daughter is going to do some botany over the summer. I’m hoping she will want to notebook some, even though we are going to keep it light and casual for the summertime. I’ve been trying to think of some good ways to notebook our Latin studies. I have a few ideas about how to notebook some verb forms and noun declensions. If you have any ideas there, I’d love to see them. I also would love to read your new e-book over the summer.

Hello,

My girls are just starting to do notebooks and so far they are a big hit. I am wondering about what types of supplies most people keep on hand for notebooking? We have some pre-printed template pages, blank pages, lapbook materials as well as colored pencils and other things to write with.

I would like to have a good stock of supplies and paper on hand and wonder what others have used that work well.

Thank You,
Michele

I would love to see something like the king/queens page only for Greek gods and goddesses and another one that says Pharaoh instead of King.
Everything you do is a blessing!!
Thanks so much!

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to ask!
I’m not sure if my request is too specific. We do presentations a couple of times a year (just did one yesterday) and I would love to have a notepage that would be set out like a programme of events, including a title, date and a place to record what we ate, the subjects each child is talking about or the demonstration they are doing.

I teach 5th grade ESL science and social studies. I was wondering if you could do something on the Revolutionary War. It would also be nice to see anything from the North Carolina science and social studies common core standards for 5th grade. I would really appreciate it.

Jimmie, perhaps some elementary math or geometry notebooking pages would be useful. I know they would be useful for mine. Thank you.
