Poetic Forms: Lyric Verse and Free Verse
Today I am sharing notebooking pages for both lyric verse and free verse. Although they are very different forms, they seemed to fit together well in a single post. Each set has three different layouts in three line styles for a total of nine free printable pages.
A Child’s Introduction to Poetry is the inspiration for these poetic forms notebooking pages. That book covers a dozen different types of poems before introducing some of the most famous poets of the English language.
I had a lot of fun trying to capture the essence of free verse on a notebooking page. A random assortment of fonts and shapes helped me create a notebooking page that matches this free spirited poetic form.
